Arriving in the Netherlands without knowing anyone, a new culture, a language different from your own and different educational system, makes you feel a little fearful, but what most encouraged me to come here was to know that there was a Christian community that has become a second home for me, not only spiritually, but also socially and fraternally speaking. When you find such nice, happy people and willing to welcome people with open arms regardless of their nationality or appearance, it reminds you that God is present everywhere and loves us all equally. I have been pleasantly surprised to see and feel the commitment of the whole congregation to continue this great work and ministry called ICF, where you are still at home. It is an immense blessing to be here and I know that it will also be for you who are about to come!  "Don’t fear, because I am with you; don’t be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will surely help you; I will hold you with my righteous strong hand." Isaiah 41:10.
